MIX TOGETHER:

4 CUPS BROWN SUGAR
2/3 CUP MILK
1 CUP (2 STICKS) BUTTER OR MARGARINE
BRING TO A BOIL AND BOIL FOR 4 MINUTES EXACTLY

TAKE OFF HEAT AND ADD:
1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
1 TEASPOON VANILLA

LET COOL TO ROOM TEMPERATURE
PUT INTO MIXER AND BEAT UNTIL CREAMY
